Car Seat Buggy 2 in 1 - Combos That Are Easy to Use
Car seat buggy 2 in 1 combines the two most important pieces of baby gear: the infant car seat and stroller. It makes getting on and off public transportation (and climbing and descending the stairs) much more convenient.
One of the best options for this is the Doona infant car seat and stroller combo. It's the only fully integrated travel system that allows you to change from the car seat to the stroller without causing disruption to your baby.
Easy to Use
Parents should have a stroller and car seat combination that is simple to use. These travel systems make it simple to switch between running errands, walking your dog, or going for a run. You can also keep up with the ever-changing needs of your child, so you can enjoy your family adventures. Our test subjects are awed by how easily and smoothly these travel systems move, whether they have a single front wheel or a rotating front wheel. The Thule Urban Glide 2 Combo and the BOB Alterrain Pro combo are particularly easy to move however, the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo and the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo can be pulled easily using just one hand.
Certain models are difficult to attach or detach from the base, though. The Doona Combo requires a two step process for attachment, as well as straps which cover the bottom of the infant carrier. It's tempting to skip the steps however it could lead to dangerous results.
Similarly, some models are difficult to fold away and store making them less practical than other. Graco FastAction 3 in 1 Car Seat Stroller is difficult to fold because of its massive dimensions and heavy frames. Some users have also found the canopy of this model to be unsatisfactory. However, the Britax Parkway Click and Go Combo is easy to fold with the pull of the lever and a click of a button. This model is an excellent choice for parents who want to use their car seat in the other cars, as it can be easily removed from the base.
Easy to Fold
If you're storing your car seat on its own, in the trunk of your vehicle or even in a closet, it must be easy to fold and unfold. The best combinations we've tested come with a simple one-handed fold that is compact and durable enough to be used for long walks. They are also easy to move and glide smoothly over uneven surfaces. We've seen some combinations that can only be joined or removed using straps, which could feel like an extra step and make it difficult for parents to ensure that the car seat is secured properly.
The BOB Revolution Flex Combo is an excellent option due to its sturdy construction and convenient features, including a large storage bin that is accessible from the front or back. Its exclusive SafeCenter LATCH makes it easy to secure a car seat installation simply by connecting the lower anchors by pulling the straps tightly and clicking the carrier into the base.

It's also quite light and compact, making it an excellent option for frequent travelers or families with multiple vehicles. 2 in 1 pram stroller and the Thule Urban Glide 2 scored very well in our ease of use tests. Both feature one front wheel that's simple to push (one-handed! Both have one front wheel that is easy to push (one-handed!). They also come with a flexible swing wheel, which is ideal for shopping or running errands. The only issue is that they're heavy and may be difficult to lift when carrying a baby in a car seat.
Easy to Assemble
Certain car seat and stroller combinations are difficult to put together. The UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo is one of the easiest travel systems to put together. It includes a helpful guide. Other models, including the UPPAbaby Minu and UPPAbaby Vista V2 Thule urban Glide 2 and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal were also fairly easy to put together. In contrast the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo is difficult to put together because it requires two steps - attaching the lower anchors, and using straps that go over the bottom portion of the carrier. It's heavy, so it takes two people to click the carrier in the base, and then detach it.
In our tests, it took about 5 minutes to put together the UPPAbaby Cruz v2. It's a fairly quick process when you take into account the time saved by not having to take out all the individual pieces. The majority of these models come with a simple process for attaching and detaching the toddler's seat, as well.
